
Chelsea trounced Real Betis in the 2025 UEFA Conference League in a thrilling final in the beautiful Estadio De Municipal De Breślavia in Poland Wednesday night. The match produced five goals with with Real Betis going down 4-1 to Chelsea. This victory marks a historic milestone as Chelsea became the first club to have won all five major UEFA men’s club competitions: the Champions League, Europa League, the Conference League, Super Cup and the now defunct Cup Winners Cup.
Real Betis started the game brightly as the Manuel Pellegrini side took the lead early in the first half. In-form Abde Ezzalzouli scored in the 9th minutes after running into a pass from Isco. Real Betis continued to mount pressure on Chelsea, enveloping the Blues in their own half and creating chances to increase the lead.
Chelsea struggled all through the first half but made a deserving comeback after the break. Enzo Fernandez equalized with a header twenty minutes into the second half, thanks to a Cole Palmer cross. Nicolas Jackson converted yet another Palmer’s assist in the 70th minutes after English playmaker made a swift turn, displacing Real Betis left-back. Chelsea confident grew more when substitute Jadon Sancho drove a curly shot pass Betis last line of defense after a miss-kick from Youssouf Sabaly-extending the lead by 3-1. Caicedo sealed the victory after connecting with Enzo to drill home a late fourth.
