
Recall that the summer transfer window was open for a short period to enable clubs shop for players before the commencement of the 2025 summer Club World Cup in the USA. Today 10th is the deadline for the mini transfer window introduced by FIFA to allow clubs register new players ahead of club World Cup due to start on Sunday June 15th.
The actual deadline is 18:00GMT Tuesday. This, no doubt is a matter of hours until the initial window closes. This will open again 16 June for clubs in the Premier League and July 1st for other European leagues till final deadline day on 1st September.
Notable transfer have been confirmed, including
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Real Madrid signed the England right back for a fee of €10Million from Liverpool. While he was expected to join Los Blancos on a free transfer when his Liverpool contract expires June 30th, the Spanish side opted to secure his services early, especially to have him available for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Dario Essugo
Chelsea signed Essugo from Sporting CP for a reported fee of £18Million. The transfer was officially announced on June 2nd.
Caoimhin Kelleher Brentford signed Liverpool’s goal keeper Kellerher for an initial fee of £12.5Million. This could rise to £18Million with a performance related add-ons. This transfer was announced June 3rd
Liam Delap
Chelsea announced on June 4th the acquisition of Ipswich Town Liam Delap for £30Million. This fee was the activation of a release clause in his contract, which became active following Ipswich relegation from the Premier League.
Nuno Tavares
Arsenal sold Tavares to lazio on June 5th for a fee in the region of €5Million to €8Million.
Pierre Kalulu
Juventus initially acquired Pierre Kalulu on a loan deal from AC Milan for €3.3Million. Juventus will acquire Kalulu permanently for approximately €17.3Million.
Jean-Claire Todibo
West Ham United completed the signing of Todibo from Nice. He initially joined on a season-long loan, with an obligation to buy. The fee for the permanent transfer is reported to be around £32.8Million.
Rayan Ait-Nouri On June 9th, Man City concluded the signing of Wolves left back for a fee of €43Million
Mamadou Sarr
Chelsea was also active yesterday 9th June as they acquire Sarr from the French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg for a fee of €20Million.
